People use sport-programs in various ways. Programs serve many needs, so the purposes for being at field are numerous. Our program-designs and research take this into account—in order to align individuals, organizations, communities, and populations. Studies extend well beyond what can be seen in the moment of a match or session.
Over time, much has been observed and collected about how play-spaces and programs serve as critical social tools. This work is the backbone of what Unite The Game shares with others!

TECHNICAL
Unite The Game’s technical studies have an interesting beginning; while living and interning with a member of FIFA’s technical study team. Combing archives of match-data left something to be desired. The data did not account for some critical aspects. Problems present in the way data and analytics seek to frame and define the game.
Since, an extensive body of work has been developed through work at our fields, as well as by working with clubs around the the Unite States and internationally. Our technical study was initially aimed to answer one question: What exactly is the problem for the United States in soccer? A new question eventually came to light: How can we solve this?
Affectionately, we call it the American dilemma. In working to understand a solve the problem, several concepts and methods have followed. Real-time demonstrations and proofs have been created to show how the problems occur, as well as how the solutions are effective.
In a body of work assembled for over a fifteen year period, we have developed a methodology and system-of-play which resolve the American dilemma. It is a game-changer, and it really does work.
